The jobs are as new as the media. The terminology is not yet established and the job profiles in the making. Thus the descriptions below show redundancies. We explain the terms used within the acm and add some you may find in job postings, educational offers, product titles or company portfolios.

Conceptors
The work of a conceptor is the prerequisite for the implementation of a multimedia project. Multimedia content is based on concepts. Conceptors develop their ideas beginning with a rough draft right down to the last detail of a finished concept in continuous discussion with the management (producer and project manager), audiovisual designers (graphic artists and media producers) and technicians (programmers and system architects). Among other conceptors devise user tests and oversee the integration of the feedback into the design of the application. They are in charge of the quality assurance for the content as well as the consistency of the audiovisual and technological design during the production process.
